Three foreign delegations visiting Cevital Group subsidiaries in a week

Cevital received last week three delegations of Qatari, Emirati and Japanese businessmen. With the group’s president, they visited four of the group’s subsidiaries that are leaders in Algeria and Africa in their lines of business.

MFG: a 30-hectare production factory turning Algeria into a glass exporter

The delegations were able to discover MFG, the only flat glass production plant in Africa, which distributes 80% of its products in Tunisia, Morocco and Europe. The group’s guests notably explored the plant’s second production line that produces 800 tons of flat glass per day.

Stop at OXXO, the outcome of Cevital’s co-production strategy

The Qatari and Emirati delegations, each in its turn, headed for Bordj Bou Arreridj, where they were able to discover OXXO and its production site of exterior carpentry solutions. Oxxo manufactures and installs windows, doors and shutters that provide top thermal, acoustic and waterproofing performance with an annual production capacity of one million units of which more than 50% are exported.

Stopover at Setif for the visit of the two Brandt Algeria plants

The two delegations were also welcomed in Samha, a production site with an annual capacity of 700 thousand units. Led by Issad Rebrab, they had the opportunity to visit the brand new Brandt Algeria mega-factory which stretches over 120 hectares and will produce between 9 and 10 million units of home appliances per year.

Bejaïa, an essential homecoming

As part of the visit program, the businessmen were able to discover Cevital’s historic agroindustrial complex in Bejaia, home to the world’s largest sugar refinery, whose production exceeds 2 million tons distributed in the Maghreb, West Africa, the Middle East and Europe.

Cevital announces its new project on the horizon

These visits led to various discussions on promising projects, initiated by the group’s president, who notably presented his latest project on the production of seawater desalination membranes and units and the production of ultra-pure water for the pharmaceutical, food processing, semiconductor and gas and oil water treatment industries shale.
